If you’re considering solar and use Taylor electric, do not do it. 2 years ago I started looking into solar and looked into Taylor Electric reimbursement for extra generated power and it was dollar for dollar. I made the decision to get solar because it was worth it at the time. Starting 9/1/2024 Taylor Electric has changed their reimbursement to only 17% of the value you pay per KW. Hands down the worst electric provider we have ever used. Thank God we are moving. They give builders free power while they're doing construction so they can gain a monopoly on the grid in areas. A small wind or a little rain and guaranteed to lose power. Internet is garbage. I pay for 1 gb speed and the tech seemed amazed with how fast mine was rolling at 200 mbps with fiber.
