I have been a patient for over 10 years with her and I noticed for the past 5 years she doesn't look up from her laptop.She complained when I told her I had three ailments. She told me she treat me for one. She is rude at times. Not to mention I am being billed for a machine I did not even take out of the box, If she was truly monitoring it she would've know that.
Maybe my review won’t mean anything however I used to work with Dr. Taylor at Horizon family medical group in Chester, NY. During my very short time there I felt uncomfortable and bullied especially by her. She treated me as if I were dumb or stupid because I didn’t know certain medical terminology and lingo the way she would. I’m sorry I don’t have a Doctorate but please do better to treat your patients and your staff a little better. You’re not better than anyone just because you drive a Mercedes. I came to see doctor Taylor after I had found multiple ticks on my body. She never thought to do anything proactive. Nor did she think to treat me when I clearly exhibited many symptoms of Lymes disease. I have been symptomatic for 2 1/2 months and have yet to receive treatment. The disease has attacked my whole body at this point. I am 34 and I have been diagnosed with arthritis in my knees. Still have to wait another 9 days for the results of my second Lyme test/follow up. Dr. Taylor is extremely thorough and considerate of my concerns. Her bedside manner is great and I feel like I’m talking to a human being when being seen by her. Sometimes it seems like some doctors are robots and don’t explain medical terms, but Dr. Taylor makes sure that you are comfortable and that you know you can ask her any questions. Every time I meet with her she knows exactly what we are going over whether she is running late or not.
