I had an incredibly poor experience with the Tax Team. When I originally reached out, I was scheduled to meet with someone in Waukesha. However, when I went to the scheduled appointment, no one was there and the building was locked. I found out that they misscheduled me to the Milwaukee office. They did accomodate, and we skipped the in person meeting to instead begin the work within their portal, and I specifically worked with Cassandra. Very poor place horrible won't return calls. They will definitely get you audited. Very expensive. Go to H&R Block way better service.
Ben and his team are fantastic. They're not just knowledgeable. They're great people, too. I spoke with Sherrie today, 4/10/26, in the height of tax season, and she was really great. She was so nice and didn't rush me off of the phone - which she very well could have! I'm a rambler and I know it. But Sherrie didn't give me the bum's rush. She really listened to me. I have used The Tax Team for the past five years, and Rachael and Ben have always been outstanding to work with. They are very knowledgeable, professional, and reasonably priced. One thing that really sets them apart is that when you first start with them, they will review up to three previous years of your tax returns at no charge to see if they can find any additional money that may have been missed.
