My wife hired Tax Express and paid $250 to prepare and file her 2025 federal and Arizona tax returns. The related payments were not processed correctly, and we learned about the problem only after an IRS collection notice arrived. The firm confirmed the issue and twice said it had been resolved, but it had not. A payment was applied to the wrong tax year, interest continued to accrue, and a second collection notice arrived. DO NOT EVER GO THERE!!! I wish I could give ZERO or even MINUS stars!! I paid Tax Express $250 to prepare and file my 2025 federal and Arizona returns. Neither tax payment was ever submitted. I did not learn this from them. I learned it from an IRS collection notice that arrived in the mail. When I contacted the firm, they confirmed the notice was valid and that neither the federal nor the state payment had gone through. They resubmitted and told me it was handled. It was not. Very friendly. They offer free tax estimates and help you understand how taxes work. You receive your refund in 1-2 weeks. They also give discounts and help work with you. Will be coming here every year
