We had an extremely disappointing experience with this property tax protest agency, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before using their services. When I signed up, I was assured that I could expect savings of approximately ±10% on my property tax bill of $1,743. Based on that promise, I trusted them to advocate on my behalf. Do NOT use this service. This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a property tax protest company. Tax Cutter does not return calls, and they completely ignore messages through their web portal chat. They initially promise to follow up within a week, but even after a month and a half, you’ll still be waiting with no updates. When I asked them to close my account, especially since they only started rushing my protest right before the deadline, they told me I couldn’t cancel unless I paid them.
