Great first visit to Tavola Rustica. The orechiette pasta was perfectly cooked, the burrata caprese was creamy and fresh, and the focaccia might be the best I’ve had — warm, olive-oil rich, with that perfect crust. Food was spot on, staff were warm and attentive, and the Magnolia St location makes for an easy, charming day out in Larkspur. Definitely returning to work my way through the rest of the menu.
Delicious homemade pastas, a beautiful chicory salad, and a bright Italian white wine were enjoyed peacefully on a summer Saturday evening. Our first time here but definitely not the last. I loved the clams, corn, and Calabrian chili in my dish and my husband had a special mushroom pasta the waiter offered to have the kitchen make for him. The patio is adorable and although we didn’t need them tonight, they have plenty of heaters as well as blankets at every table. 10/10.
On our first full day in Corte Madera, we found ourselves wandering through Larkspur. The restaurant we originally were going to dine at for lunch was closed for construction, so during our stroll through town we were enthusiastically welcomed into Tavola Rustica by the owner. Amazing place - always get pepper from the Rubirosa.
The food was delicious and the waiters snd staff were so much fun with an Italian flare. A wonderful place for a casual or special occasion. I hope this restaurant has a long life in Larkspur!!!!
