I highly recommend Tavlan Tree Service. The main reasons are: 1. Local family business. 2. Alex is a NJ Licensed Tree Expert who will be onsite with his team performing the work. 3. This is in contrast to other companies who have sent a licensed tree expert to provide an estimate, but the tree expert will not be onsite to manage the project. Alex Tavlan is the epitome of a true professional. He’s a straight shooter, no BS. He did everything as promised and as spelled out in the written estimate, and then some. He even stayed with the original estimated date even though many areas of Hillsborough experienced a major wind storm just days before! He and his crew had been working around the clock all week yet they took down one 50-foot tree, removed the stump, and did a major pruning of another 50-footer, all within the span of about 9 hours. I hired Alex and his company to remove some dead trees from my property and to prune several others. He scheduled the job and showed up when promised. Alex and his crew did a great job.
