Our steamed vegetables had bits of plastic in them. When we told the server about it, he said the plastic was from the bag they microwaved the vegetables in. Overpriced, mediocre quality, and small portions.
A great place for a group to enjoy outdoor dining. The food is great too!
Extremely overpriced all around. Food was passable; I wouldn't go out of my way for it. We ordered a $30 sampler plate, which was mostly dips, and were asked if we'd like some pita bread to go with it, without any indication of the surprise upcharge for TWO orders of pita bread we'd discover when we got the check. If you're considering this restaurant, I would strongly recommend going 20 minutes out of the way to eat at Our Mom Eugenia in Shirlington Village instead, which is exactly what we did after our visit here.
What I had was fish mush, not broiled fish as described. The owner said that was that way it is supposed to be.
Having met up with old friends from schooldays in UK, we were led to this Tavern for seafood and lamb, their specialties. It was just right for celebrating a house move in Old Town. The service was exceptional, the waiter being careful to avoid interrupting our conversation, yet being really attentive.
