The pastry I bought here was stale and old. They seemed annoyed by my request to choose a different pastry, saying they would all taste this way.
Tried a muesli bowl. Very good, but there’s only so much you can do with fresh fruit, granola, Greek yoghurt and honey. Potato leek and greens quiche was too one note. Reheated crust turned very hard, everything in it was mush. It needed either fresh herbs, or some spice to cut through the combination of mush and butter. Coffees were good, price point okay for being in a large downtown area. The jackhammer construction outside was just icing on a soft scone.
I have been orderin for a couple of times now with idea that one day they might get it right but now a single time. Coffe is burned as they might increase the temperature, has no cream on it (and i just wait there patiently as soon as it is made. Even the cup its not hot. We get it you guys excell in drip coffe but if the coffe is burned the milk in cappucino will hide its flaws.
Love hanging out here and grazing or grabbing lunch or a coffee. Great coffee drinks, bakery items and salads.
