Dr. Ramirez was the provider that worked the weekend I was in the hospital after having surgery. Unfortunately I did not experience proper, safe and equitable medical care under her supervision. My surgeon stated prior to my surgery a typical stay for my type of invasive surgery varies 3-7 days for someone that doesnt experience complications. For some reason, Dr Ramirez was fixated on the 3 days and intentionally provided unsafe negligent care to ensure it appeared I was medically stabled to be released on day 3. Within 1 d... read more
Dr. Ramirez is phenomenal. An excellent surgeon with terrific bedside manner. She is incredibly smart and caring. She spent so much time going over everything with us. She was an absolute delight to be around. I can't recommend her enough.

The surgery and after care are lacking. I was in pain and bleeding for months. With little to no options given, but more surgery. I will find another surgeon if I ever need this care again. I am in more pain and discomfort after surgery than I was before. Update. It has been more than a year and a half and I am still in more pain than I was before surgery.
If you are looking for a caring, kind and compassionate, colorectal surgeon. Look no further Dr. Ramirez is exactly what you need. She will listen and hear out all of your needs answer all of your questions she does not make you feel rushed explains everything about the procedure that you need from start to finish very knowledgeable and the best part is she truly cares and that’s hard to find. And did I mention she’s kind, caring and compassionate. Five stars does not do her justice.
