The owner is sweet but the place is understaffed. There's long wait times and overcooked food thats most likely a day or 2 old. What I had was extremely overcooked. But the goat was nice. No djon djon on a friday afternoon. Saddest part of my day. Almost all the hatian restaurants from Brooklyn to queens/long Island are mid. Mid service. Old and over cooked food. I guess I need to go to the high dollar hatian/french restaurants I've been seeing and hope they're better.
We had a great time. The food, drinks, and music was really good.
My husband and I visited Tatie Jo's for the first time today and let me tell you that she did not disappoint. From the warm welcome to the drinks and food, A+. That is definitely our spot now! Go check it out yourself.
After waiting for almost 2 hours for our food and then receiving cold food, I learned that there was only 1 person acting as the hostess, waitress, bartender, and cook. She was very polite and was trying her best but she informed us that she was the only one working. As much as I wanted to give a bad review, I can’t.
