Dr. Fensterer completed my chest reconstruction in Aug 2023. My experience has been wonderful! My surgery was a success and the healing process is continuing to go smoothly. Dr Fensterer has truly given me a new outlook on life and helped me love my body. As a transgender male, it's difficult to find healthcare providers that understand and are willing to help with the transition process. Dr Fensterer has been 100% supportive and has helped empower me to live an authentic life. I highly recommend her services!
This review is specifically for Dr. Fensterer's part in my healing journey. I was diagnosed January 11 2023 with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. I have never met a more caring surgeon. I wish it was appropriate to share pictures so you could see the phenomenal work she did. She performed my reconstruction post mastectomy. I healed beautifully, with no issues whatsoever. Dr. Fensterer is hands down the best! Her skills are impeccable! She has knowledge in many areas.I am a breast cancer survivor with double mastectomy, breast and arm lymphoedema. She is the kindest person. Excellent bed side manner. I have had multiple breast surgeries with her due to issues from previous surgeons work. She always goes above and beyond! I have not spoken with this doctor personally. She could be a really nice woman however I've only had conversations with either a secretary or nurse practioner from this office and it has been a nightmare trying to go in for a consultation. I have tried multiple times to send over any information that this office had requested from my therapist and my physician signing off to it and every time I send it to them it is not good enough even though it has exactly what was requested. Dr Fensterer is the sweetest, most caring doctor I’ve ever been to. She did my breast reconstruction and also my eyelid surgery and I couldn’t be more satisfied. She is an awesome doctor and I would recommend her to anyone.
