Excellent BBQ in western Kansas. We're just passing through and had a party of 9 that were quickly seated and served. Very good brisket (similar to the best in KC and STL) and pulled pork. Skip the regular fries (sweet potato is way better) and the Mac and cheese (was just meh, didn't have a 'cheesy' taste to it -- not bad at all just okay) -- they have lots of other sides so try something else. Plenty of parking and right off the highway which was awesome.
The salad bar was good. Had all the standard fare. Ordered the BBQ Brisket sandwich and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were crispy and were waffle style. The brisket sandwich tasted great! Used the Apple Habanero sauce. The only drawback was the sliced brisket was heavier in fat. I trimmed a bit more and put it back together. Fat does give flavor so not a big deal.
Slow service at first but the food was great as always! Salad bar is tops and their barbecued meats are really really good!!
