Tried this place for the first time the other day I think it’s our new spot. The first thing I noticed is the food does not taste like it has MSG. Taste like something you would make it to your own house if you had the skill. Definitely going back there again the family loved it.
Service was unattentive. We had to flag down someone to order, get a fork, get to go containers and pay our bill. It was a rather busy night. But we felt really ignored.
Their food has dropped off and their lunch portions are not what they used to be. Authentic Chinese restaurant in Concord California. They were impeccable from a food and service perspective but are now unfortunately cutting cost. I still recommend their food as a good East Bay option for Chinese food.
I really wanted to like this place because it’s close to my house but it was HORRIBLE. We ordered some chicken chow fun, walnut prawns, meat and cabbage dumpling, and soup dumpling. The food was as bland as it can get and we had to leave every dish after a couple of bites. Would not recommend at all in terms of food. The people are nice though!
