I can’t lie the two times I’ve been here the food was amazing. I’m not making this saying the food isn’t good because it is. However today I called to get a fried chicken plate and she takes the order and calls right back. She calls to tell me there is no fried chicken up she would have to cook it. And asked if I would like baked chicken. So what was the problem cooking the chicken? Like why call back to tell me you have to cook it and do I want baked? So yall don’t cook fresh chicken? Traveling passing through found this restaurant in Google. We had (2) plates fried chicken, pork chops and we also got cake. The food was hot and fresh. The cake was delicious. They have lots of yummy food choices.

This is a little hidden gem, reminiscent of the old mom and pop diners of old. I haven’t had a chance to try the savory menu, and will update when I do, but the sweets menu is deserving of the namesake! I commissioned a full red velvet cake for my aunt, who is a notorious connoisseur of red velvet, and she absolutely ADORED the cake. The turnaround was around two days, and the cake holds up well. Everything is handmade with love. Get you some Tasty Sweet!
