We made reservations for this restaurant. We came across a post on Instagram. It looked very promising. This place was known to be vintage prior which I loved going to. The atmosphere was really pretty very limited food options, Which was kind of a turn off. More than the disappointing food options was the host service was really disappointing. I’m gonna jump right in and tell you that a high priced Philly cheesesteak is something you need in your life and the Tasting Room is a helluva place to get it from. Delicious! Definitely not better than ah grungy spot in Philly, but classy and well made but amazing. With tasty fries to accompany the sandwich. The calamari was spot on and well done. Kevin was our bartender and he was kind, respectful, informative and quick. He didn’t rush us out after hours. Very patient and drinks were good.
My boyfriend and I finally checked out The Tasting Room after hearing so many good things, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The atmosphere was perfect for a date night—comfortable, lively, and a place you can easily spend a few hours. We started with the TR chopped salad and the street corn dip, and both were great.
