What an enjoyable afternoon we had with Captain Kirk on our Santa Barbara food tour. He is so engaging, personable and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area. Our favorite stop was the Loubud Wine tasting but each locale offered good food and more interesting tidbits of history.
Captain Kirk was a lovely tour guide and we had the most wonderful day seeing the best of Santa Barbara. Secret Bao was one of my favs and my husband can't stop talking about the birria tacos. Just the right amount of walking and the right amount of food! Great way to see the sights and learn the history all while eating some delicious snacks along the way.
This is a great tour to take. If you want to see more Art and Culture and History, this is for you. The wine tasting we went to was wonderful - 3 to 4 kinds of wine and cheese/fruit plate. It was in a cozy spot off State Street. Beautiful atmosphere. Then there were 3 - 4 different places we went to sample food. They were awesome. Some shopping was done, lots a new places and stores to see. The tour guide (Kirk) was awesome as well. Take a guided walking wine and food tour, and you will love it to.
Captain Kirk was an excellent guide! He was knowledgeable about the history and sites of Santa Barbara, with the added side of humor. I would definitely recommend this tour!
This was our first ever tour and it did not disappoint! Kirk was great! Lots of knowledge about the town and amazing food! Definitely recommend!!!
