I really wanted to love this place. It has a lovely upscale atmosphere and definitely gives “nice lunch/date night” energy. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the setting or the price tag. I ordered the steak salad, and the steak was overcooked and impressively committed to being fat. 😂 There just wasn’t much actual steak I wanted to eat. I’ve had the blackened redfish and Parmesan chicken. Both excellent. The vibe is friendly and approachable with high quality fine-dining dishes. The location is perfectly situated alongside downtown Buda shops and bars. I’m taking off one star because of an unfortunate experience when I first dined here.. I arrived by myself as I was in the area for an appointment. I sat at the bar to order dinner, and was approached by a drunk cowboy who couldn’t take a hint. I want to give my child experiences! This was an AMAZING experience she’ll never forget for her 12th birthday! She’s been asking to try oysters for years now. We were greeted with happy birthdays! Even got a card. Service was excellent! Then surprised with bday crème brûlée! Thank you for making the best birthday my girl will never forget n want to return again n again n celebrate with you all!
They're telling me that the menu will be pivoting to a more Italian menu in the coming months. Considering that we've had two exceptional meals that were Italian-centric cuisine, this is good news to me. The drinks are good and flavors balanced, and the chicken parm is actually flavorful.
