This is hands down the best most consistent Jamican food in the city. I’ve been going here for the last decade and I always get the best customer service, hot food - they’re rarely out of food unless they’re close to closing unlike other Jamican food restaurants. Their food is always hot and fresh and the atmosphere is a vibe if you just wanted to hang out and eat. Literally every time I try another Jamican restaurant I have no choice but to compare it to this one and usually they don’t stand with Taste of Jamaica.
I drove here during my lunch break because the website has the place listed as OPEN. I get to the store and they’re closed ALL WEEK because of Memorial Day (Monday). This review is the nicest way I could’ve expressed my dissatisfaction with the store.
Love it. Worth the drive
I heard the food was ok here but the service was bad. I'm a believer of giving people grace so I gave it a shot anyway. They open at 12pm so that's when I arrived. Stood at the door for 5 minutes on my (lunch break) looking at the staff through the window. I decided to call and asked what time they'll be opening today. The young lady clearly had an attitude and said in a few minutes. I said then are you suppose to open at 12pm today and she responded by saying BYE and hung up on me.
