My god. The meat samosas. The chicken biryani. I was literally in my car salivating from the smell. My absolute favorite place ever.
I had always been okay with Indian cuisine, I could take it or leave it. Taste of India completely changed that. We were greeted right away, and after being seated the server brought us udad papad with both mango and mint chutney to snack on while we looked at the menu. The chutneys were delicious and flavorful as was the udad papad. We then ordered Onion Paneer Kulcha and the Paneer Pakora for appetizers. Decent place for Americans or Desi Americans because that’s what their target audience is! We ordered three chicken curries, 2 safe pick and one new-risky (Mango curry). Surprisingly, the one risky item was far better than conventional curries. They put lots of color and no authentic spices for Chicken Tikka masala and Chicken Korma.
