We have been going to Taste of China for a long time - it was always amazing. But not anymore, I have a suspicion that there have been changes on the kitchen side. Noodles were cooked with rancid old oil. Previously thick and appetising Hot and Sour Soup was just liquid with a few things floating in it. Shredded Pork in Garlic Sauce had an unbalanced taste. Another one bites the dust. Now if you haven’t been there before- you wouldn’t know of the deliciousness gone.
This is a great place to eat, they have a large selection and the service is good here. My food was hot and they give you a good size portion.
This may be the best Chinese food I've eaten. Everything was so fresh. My wife and I started with an egg roll, it was super hot and absolutely delicious, this is when we knew this was not the standard mass produced Chinese takeout, it was not the standard size, a little more plump, the pork was not the standard hard nugget that stains the cabbage red, it was brown crumbled ground pork, like fresh ground sausage. Love this place. Best Chinese in town, if you like Hunan and Szechuan. My wife loves the wonton soup and it has a great hot and sour soup. But really everything we tried over the years is well prepared and respectful to the cuisine.
