I visited the caf� at the Glasgow Science Centre with my child and was quite disappointed with the food options available. The choice is very limited, and most of the items appear to be heavily processed and not particularly nutritious. Apart from the soup, which seemed like the healthiest option, everything else felt like convenience food rather than fresh, balanced meals — which is surprising for a venue aimed at families and children. The Taste Cafe at Glasgow Science Centre is located at the far end of the Science Centre on the ground floor, we were here in the winter and were cold so having their soup was just what we needed. With it being a museum cafe it is more pricier than average but we thought the food was excellent. There was a bit of a wait for our food to arrive but you do get the option of sitting inside or outside, but with it being cold, we wanted to stay warm. Food looks good but not helpful and slow staff. Half empty restaurant and was told to wait half an hour to sit down. Promptly left!
