I had one appointment with her many years ago. I was having major rectal bleeding and needed to see a GP so I could get a referral for a specialist who could order me a colonoscopy. She refused anything beyond blood tests and refused to refer me to a GI specialist. Dr. Yakoob has been my primary care doctor at Kelsey for about three years. She is thorough, professional and personable. I highly recommend her. As an older male, I have a few minor health issues that she has helped me manage effectively. Just as anything else you get what you put into it, whether it's your health or the relationship with your healthcare professionals. I have type 2 diabetes and of course I am no happy about it. I am disappointed in myself. I go to ms Dr. Yakoob for "care". I had her before. I think she is a good doctor but I have had good doctors before her and before this disease. I would like to give her a great rating but I think her bedside matter is rude and condescending.
