I went to Dr Tasaki for a simple gallbladder surgery. I finished with a cut to my biliary duct, sepsis, and a HUGH biloma. The biloma (toxic bile collection) took up almost half the size of my liver. I had to go to Mayo Clinic Hospital for a resolution because no one knew how to resolve it on Maui. When I asked Dr Tasaki if I was going to die, he said maybe and laughed. I would not recommend this doctor at all unless you’re looking to get worse or want to come out way worse than you went in !!!!
I had an appointment w this man years back to remove a threatening cyst. This “dr” really acted professional when asking personal questions and was really quick to cut the unprofessional jokes when I mentioned my parents were physicians. When I went back for the procedure he began with the numbing needle and didn’t wait 10 mins as required before doing the operation. Doctor Mitchell Tasaki trust him with my life since he saved it! Very blunt but in my case I appreciate it a lot. Did my bilateral mastectomy, my cancer reoccurrence lymph node dissection and will do all of my future surgeries as far as i I’m concerned. I love Laura Tasaki and her staff!! They treat me like family, and are very efficient in setting up my surgeries and keeping “Doc” organized!!
My husband was referred to this man to remove a general lump on his head( grew from a bump caused by a hit to head) . We were told he would be out of work for 2-3 days and it would be a general surgery.
