Stay away if you can. Tartan/Tamarack installs the bare minimum needed to pass building code, and the overall quality is noticeably lower. You end up chasing them through Tarion repeatedly, sometimes a dozen times a year, just to get basic issues fixed. The only reason I have managed is because I work from home and can stay on top of it, since most of the appointments are during the day.
When you spend 700k on a townhouse & you can hear your neighbours walking around, coughing and baby crying. TERRIBLE BUILD.
We got a Tartan Home for our first home and the experience has been great from the sales office, the workers and customer service. We love the design of our townhome and the high quality finishes.
