They were kind and efficient
First and foremost everyone at the service department was polite and helpful, so this complaint is not about any one person, rather the timeliness of service. I arrived at 10:15 am for my 10:45 am appointment for normal routine service (oil change, etc…). My vehicle was taken back quickly and I assumed I would be done quickly…I WAS WRONG!!! Does anyone think a car using one quart of oil per 1,000 miles is normal? The service man at Tarr said it is. In all my 38 yrs of owning almost every make of vehicle I’ve never had a car do that til my stepdaughters 2011 Sonata. Went to Tarr Hyundai a month ago to start the Oil Consumption Test to see if Hyundai would replace the motor as the class action lawsuit settlement states they will for excessive oil use. The work is good but the haggle over warranty was prevelant in about half the customers waiting. You need to make sure you know what it pertains before you arrive!
Not sure if I got full service with my warranty.
