We took the tram tour yesterday10/16/25 and the guide Ashton was phenomenal. She was such a wealth of information. The trip was very very well done. it is rare to have such a great guide

The facility and staff were great, but the kayaking experience was more difficult than expected. We could've just picked a bad day/time of day. Very few animals seen, only a couple birds.

To whoever the man was who felt the need to stop us for turning around, you did not have to be so RUDE. We saw the sign and turned around behind the sign which was our only option unless you wanted us to block the road you were exiting. We did not hurt anyone/ anything. We have support you for several years but your actions have me rethinking my donations. Maybe time you could have said, hey thanks for visiting but we are closed.

8 of us rented kayaks and went on the guided kayak trail tour through the mangroves. We had an amazing time. Everyone at Tarpon Bay Explorers was so helpful. Our guide had a wonderful knowledge of the area, and we learned so much about the mangroves and southwest Florida! You can tell he's extremely passionate about nature and the ecosystems. We will come do this tour again!

Guided kayak tour on 7/24/2025 was awesome! Austyn and Mo were great guides and took our family of four (twin nine year olds) along a roughly two hour tour of Tarpon Bay and the surrounding areas. Mangroves were amazing and saw all kinds of wildlife including rays, mullet, ospreys, herons, and crabs. Great tour with great information along the way. At the end you are free to keep your kayak as long as you’d like without the guide. Overall awesome experience with kids and would absolutely use Tarpon Bay Explorers again!
