Am reviewing as a paying customer... Have had my car tuned by Ben for the past year or so & it's been ok... Every car is different & responds to tuning differently & I understand that. But when you make a booking to get software removed from your car in order to go to VW to get warranty work done & he doesn't show up after you've taken a day off of work & driven 40+ mins even after trying to confirm the day before, that's a bit of a dick move. I've been using Ben / Tarmac / BPS for years & they are top notch. Yes - Ben can be busy at times, his expertise and knowledge means he is in high demand, but their overall service is worthy of the full 5 stars.
Been around a month, called up and talked to Ben about modifying my car… he was actually quite nice over the phone, he said he’ll write me a quote. Waited a couple days and no response, called up and Rachel picked up the phone, i asked for Ben and she said his busy at the moment I’ll let him know you called… waited a few days no response. Repeated the process two more times but Ben is never available so i gave up.
