We had a dozen fresh shucked oysters dine in for $35 ($25 if we took them away but were informed that the dine in ones were slightly better which they probably were). That said, even the dine in oysters were small compared to other places we have been to around Tassie including the east coast and Bruny island but still tasty. A must-visit seafood experience in Smithton! Tarkine Fresh Oysters is an absolute gem. The oysters are incredibly fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The range of unique topping combinations adds something really special and showcases just how versatile and delicious fresh Tasmanian oysters can be. Highlight of our visit to Smithton. Had the Seafood Chowder and mixed dozen oysters. Yum, yum, yum!! Highly recommend. Service great as well, very friendly staff Would recommend booking.
