Exceptional doctor! Never have I felt more at ease with an m.d. Takes time to explain the procedure. Answers all questions. Friendly, talented, concerned and caring. I will recommend him. Even called the next day to check on my hubby.
Dr. Tariq Hamid saved my husband. My husband was in Advent Health Ocala and suffered a stroke. According to the NIHSS score it was severe. The medical team immediately gave him TNK and then assessed again. He was then transferred to the Interventional Radiology Suite where Dr. Hamid performed a thrombectomy. He removed a large blood clot from the brain and the blockage was relieved. Within minutes of my husband awakening he began talking and moving.
