Do yourself a kindness and find another doctor. I was diagnosed with DCIS and met with her in Oct, 2021. Due to the extent of the cancer, I had to get a full mastectomy. After research, I wanted both breasts removed as I didn’t want to risk going thru this again. She was adamant that I wouldn’t be given pain meds, assuring me it wouldn’t be needed with stories of patients happily shopping the next day.
