Was under the impression that vsp was in network since it was an option to click on the appointment site, even called prior to appointment to give vsp information and was not told once it was out of network. Basically got blindsided to spend more than what I expected on the exam alone. When I spoke to the manager about this afterwards, she was very apologetic but also told me that I had to ask specific questions in order for them to tell me I was out of network, which is ridiculous.
