Self checkout isn't open in the morning so you're stuck waiting in a regular line for one or two items
The Mishawaka target is using strong arm tactics to bully small businesses. They have threatened to leave Mishawaka entirely rather than being willing to move one of their entrances to line up the the street intersection. Which is then forcing small businesses to use their land to make complicated roadways, destroying natural habitat and beautiful landscaping and potentially making it hazardous for clients and animals.
Mishawaka target has most everything I need and is a clean environment to shop in. Pricing on some items is cheaper than Martins.
Staff was busy (not friendly or welcoming, but not rude), lots of cool stuff, place was clean, but the prices were ridiculously high.
This is the largest Target I've ever seen or been to. Its nearly the same size as a Walmart with equally as many home AND grocery items which was surprising to see. They have a huge selection in all areas of the store, if all Targets were like this one I could see them doing much better in the retail landscape. There are 2 store entrances, one on grocery and one on the home side. Standard checkout and self checkout were both available, setup the same way as Walmart.
