Great ice cream I'm not a huge organic fan which is weird to say being a Californian, but I heard raving reviews from friends and decided to try. The ice cream here is wonderful. They will let you taste as many flavors as you want before buying. I chose the blackberry and the earl gray which were phenomenal. Seriously try it out because it's the best ice cream parlor around. The prices are actually pretty reasonable considering how great the ice cream tastes and it being organic.
Great ice cream, little shop – Avoid the line of Ici and the congestion of Fenton's (unless you have the energy to deal with it...) On the same street as Ici, but Tara's holds her own! I have only had great experiences from Tara's Ice Cream shop. Only a few places for ice cream lovers in Berkeley, and Tara's is definitely a favorite of mine. Interesting and exotic falvors... only down side is lack of seating.

Ginger Plum Ice cream in a sesame cone! – Tara's is a little hole-in-the-wall with almost nowhere to sit; there just really doesn't need to be anywhere to sit. You can eat your cone while you stand! Flavors vary, but have included lemongrass, walnut, blueberry mint, rosemary pear, corn, etc. Tonight, I had Plum Ginger and Black Sesame in a sesame waffle cone. So good! They are open every night until 10pm. I don't even like ice cream, but sometimes I crave Tara's.
