I’ve had a pretty good experience with this doctor but the office staff has always been absolutely terrible. Nothing but very snotty girls at the front desk. They are literally never polite. Every time I go in for a visit I arrive early and have to wait over an hour just to be seen. The last two times I’ve been there, I waited forever just for Dr tarantola to pop her head in the room for 2 seconds and ask if I have any questions. Wonderful doctor, nurses and office staff! Very caring and thorough. Never trying to 'sell' anything, just looking out for the patients' health.
Two office staff were very rude, one even walking away shaking her head when I had insurance questions/concerns for my elderly parent. I was shocked at their behavior, in my experience most doctors offices are very professional and friendly. I was so bothered I let the doctor know but she supported her staff. Will not be going back.
As a former beach lifeguard, I’ve had more than my fair share of sun exposure... so I truly value excellent dermatological care. Dr. Tarantola has guided me through Mohs surgery, and Nurse Practitioner Sarah Clark successfully treated a squamous cell carcinoma. The entire team is consistently professional, compassionate, and clear every step of the way.
