Did not tell us about the risks of turbinate reduction . Look up Empty Nose Syndrome! When in doubt, don't go under the knife. I wasn't even in doubt though. I put too much trust in the doc for my son's care. Thank goodness everything went well but to find this out after the fact is not okay. I believe a lot of $urgeons $ee you like this: $$$.

I was favorably impressed - she was certainly direct, to the point. Very friendly putting me at ease. Listened to my problems-suggested necessary solutions to my issues. Very professional. Five Stars from me

I had excess wax build up in my only good ear. To the point I couldn't hear. I went to Dr Azar to have the wax removed, then I could hear again. Unfortunately, the build up happened again in 4 or 5 days. I went every week for 4 weeks until I endured the most brutal extraction. When she finished I asked her Why can't I hear? She casually replied, that's because you have a hole in your ear drum. imo She ruptured my ear drum. She didn't seem to care in the least. I am now hearing impaired for life

Dr Azar completely missed my family member's thyroid issues even though she was specifically given symptoms and asked about testing. Not recommended at all for thyroid conditions.

I came to Dr. Azar with chronic: sinus infections, earaches, cluster headaches and sore throats. She offered to scope my nose. Then told me that I have empty nose syndrome due to previous surgery. She suggested I try steroids and said there is a small chance that it will help. She offered to give me a sinus rinse, which some people find comforting. I agreed. I was stunned to see our very brief visit would cost me for two surgeries and a consultation that came just under $2K. What?!?!?!

She does not explain possible side effects of surgery. Especially long lasting side effects that could make one choose to opt out of surgery. Full disclosure wasn't offered. Explained procedure in a casual, no big deal 30 second way. Does not have your best interest at heart. I suspect money is the motivator with Dr. Azar. Or just burnt out. Car salesman type of appt. The quick, slick kind. Drop your insurance and go to Naturopathic Doctor or Chiropractor instead.
