Not recommended. This woman damaged my clothes and continues to deny it even though we both know the truth. I expected honesty and an apology, instead she acts as if it is my fault, blaming me and refusing to accept responsibility in any way. Her workmanship is a disgrace and her attitude even worse. She is a compulsive liar and I would recommend you try any other place in town - no place could possibly be as bad as this.

My husband bought another new suit after you mutilated the one I brought into your "Tara tailor shop" in Carlsbad. You were never going to take any responsibility and I have made my peace with this. That's on you- your Karma, you deal with what comes your way. I only would like to share my experience with others in the community so they don't end up in a similar situation. I only intend on sharing my story so it doesn't happen to others, that for me is priceless.

OMG! Complete disaster!! This place DESTROYED my husbands $2000 Armani Suit. He bought it, and wore it once, gained some weight and needed to have it let out. She charged $90, which I thought was pretty high but I was completely willing to pay to have it done right. I brought the suit there and looked at it with the lady. She asked me to have my husband come and try it on- so my eyes are on this two more times... Fast forward to 9/30/2019- I go pick up the suit and bring it home and the pants have new crazy stitching going d... read more

Completely overpriced, was quoted $450 to alter a dress or $180 to hem it!! I took it over to pro hems and they did it for $45. I wouldn't recommend this place, they are just trying to take advantage of the people who live around here.

Tara knows her stuff I took my several of my husband's suits in for alterations to the Tara Tailor Shop. Tara herself was there when I brought in the suits and she carefully went over each one with us to make sure they would fit him just right. Tara knows how to work her customers - my husband was loving the attention. She really did do a great job - when I went to pick the suits up and got them home, they fit my husband like a glove.
