I recently moved to Tampa and was looking for an ob- gyn. After reviewing a few different options, I found the Women’s Care Center. I saw Dr. Tara Lynn Sosna, I really like her and her attentiveness. She listened and then completed my physical and pap. Redid all my prescriptions and sent them in immediately. The front desk was efficient and my appt was on time. I am so impressed with all of the staff and Dr Sosna. I know I have found my ob- gyn center that I will keep. I highly recommend Dr. Sosna, she listens and is kind.
I feel compelled to leave a review because so many of Dr. Sosna’s reviews are about her tardiness. Yes, she is always late. It sucks. I learned this the hard way and will never book a morning appointment again. Afternoon appointments are never an issue usually. But aside from this, she is the most incredible doctor I’ve ever had. First of all, let me say that Dr. Sosna was very personable when I met her for the first and only time. I will never go back to her. The first time I had an appointment, she was an hour and a half late. Supposedly she had a flat tire, so I felt bad even judging how late she was. However, the second follow up appointment was just as bad. I sat in the exam room for one hour and 10 minutes. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr.Sosna has been consistently disappointing due to their chronic lateness. Every appointment I've had has started anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour late, with little to no communication or apology. While I understand that emergencies can happen in medical settings, this level of delay seems to be routine rather than exceptional.
