Tara liners pull away from the top and tear. I even got the thickest 28 mil. To be fair I read similar things about all the liner companies. There is a product that turns your vinyl liner into plexiglass. Google it.
We just replaced a liner that was coming apart at the bead. We couldn’t tell where the liner had failed because we have had excessive rain and couldn’t drain the pool or really even get the cover completely off to see why it “ripped”. Once we could and were replacing the liner we noticed that the bead peeled away from the liner very easily. We tried to get the home owner at least some compensation and were told the only way is for Tara to remake the liner. Pool Owner Nightmare - We paid $5,000, 9 Months, Pool Wall Not Straight, and now Cutting Our Loses. We decided on a Tara liner and used their Recommended Installer, paid $5000 in June 2024 for a liner. They sent the wrong size (either their installer measured wrong or they made it wrong), kept saying “next week, next week”. Tara is an awesome company to do business for your pool product needs.I had my fourth Tara liner installed in August of 2024.It seems difficult to find companies that keep customer satisfa ction as a priority.Tara knocks it out of the park!It is truely a pleasure doing business with Tara!
