As someone who has a masters in’s medical Humanites , Dr Rivera and her staff struggle to insinuate that. She treats check up appointments like it’s a speed appointment date. Will cut you off in between a sentence and seems like she’s ready to run off for the check. Her front desk have a ton of unnecessary sass.

THE OFFICE STAFF ARE NOT HELPFULL AND CONTRADICT THEMSELVES. PROVIDER REFERRED ME TO A SPECIALIST ON 6.11 AND STAFF TOLD ME TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE SPECIALIST FIRST AND THEN CALL BACK TO GET A REFERRAL. I MADE THE APPOINTMENT WITH THE SPECIALIST AND THEN HAD TO RESCHEDULE IT BECASUE THE OFFICE STAFF SAID IT TAKES 5 DAYS TO DO REFERRAL. IT LITERALLY TAKES 2 MINUTES ON AVAILITY.COM. IF THE STAFF WOULD HAVE MADE A REQUEST FOR THE REFERRAL ON 6.11 WHEN I ORIGINALLY ASKED IT, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN COMPLETED FOR MY APPOINTMEN... read more

Excellent general doctor and the best my mother and I have ever had . She goes up and beyond to make sure we have the medication we need and has always went to bay for us when sometimes and ins. Company won’t authorize something particular. She has a genuine heart and caring disposition and always takes as much time as needed during the appointment that never feels rushed. The staff is always upbeat and never is along wait time which is surprising knowing how good of a doctor she is . I don’t see myself or my mom ever moving... read more

I have no opinion of Dr. Rivera because I never even had a chance to make an appointment. As a new patient, I called the office mid morning on a Friday and was told by the not so friendly office staff someone would call me back by EOD to make the appointment, which I thought was strange but whatever. A week later still no one called. I made an appointment with another doctor at a different facility. I have no use for a office that can’t even make an appointment.
