Terrible bedside manner. Made a hasty and INCORRECT diagnosis after less than 2 minute ultrasound. She ruined the last few weeks of my pregnancy and I will never forget my encounter with her. Refused to see her again. Saw Dr. Veillon at my next appt and he was MUCH better and had a totally different opinion from hers. You are already in a vulnerable place if you are needing an MFM doctor, so avoid this doctor to save yourself some grief.
I met Dr. Benjamin once due to a last minute schedule change. Upon her entry to my room, she didn’t introduce herself and acted as if she didn’t want to be there. She immediately told me what she was recommending without asking any questions or completing the ultrasound herself first. When she did complete the ultrasound, which took 1 minute or less, her phone rang loudly and she took a call about a patient needing to call something in. My husband and I were lucky enough to see Dr. Benjamin for our 20 week anatomy scan in November 2020. She was thorough, informative, and had the best bedside manner I’ve ever experienced. She really took her time to explain what she was looking at, what she observed, and did so in a calm and soothing manner.
