The food is always excellent. Never a complaint. The two times we have been there we were disappointed by unexpected up charges. The last time we had dinner we were up charged $4.50 for a second cup of pico de gaulle for our chips. The first cup was almost empty so we asked for some more. They did not mention the cup was $4.50. We asked if their fish tacos were at the advertised 3/$9. They upcharged $1.50 each dinner. They upcharged for sour cream topping & for Mexican-American. Honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant. Waited almost 10 minutes to be fully seated, get water, chips & salsa + menus. Another 15 minutes for our order to be taken. Server barely interacted with our party of two. Waited an additional 15-20mins for our check after finishing eating. My corn tortillas were soggy to the touch, rice was dry, and beans obviously out of a can. Huge downgrade to this place 2 years ago. Where did the quality go? Food excellent. Only one size margaritas which is small at most restaurants and priced very high 15 bucks for one. Food prices are average. Food top notch. Drinks go to another place

The best Mexican restaurant in Wisconsin. Arua and melany were very professional and friendly. I can here for work from Phoenix Arizona and the food is already on my top 5 ever. I would recommend Taqueria El Gallo DevOro to everyone. I will definitely be back.
