Beautiful resort Friendly and helpful staff Swimming pool and Rec Center were very accommodating for the large family reunion we arrived with. Approx. 30 ppl. Boat dock across the street was great for getting our 26' boat in and out daily. Definitely would recommend Tappan resort if looking for place to stay on or near the lake. Jen in the office was very helpful with our reservations and accommodations. Didn't get cleaning ladies name but she was very welcoming and friendly.
My Review Title: An Absolute 5-Star Hidden Gem! I recently stayed at the Tappen Lake Resort cabins for the first time, and I cannot say enough good things about this place. If I could give it more than five stars, I would! The exceptional service started before I even arrived. Jen at the office was so welcoming and made me feel right at home. Come here for some great family memories. Cabins are quaint, beds comfortable, staff and property EXCEPTIONALLY family and dog friendly. With luck, we’ll be coming back every year, new family tradition. Update: Second year here, could not be any happier. There’s now a restaurant on site, and a soon to be open indoor pool. Staff is still amazing.

It was the most perfect get away. The view was amazing. The staff was helpful and very kind. I would do this again this week if I could.
