Stayed here with my partner for 5 weeks in March. Trev and Carol are both lovely people and were so accomodating to us, we arrived to a fresh loaf of bread, cheese, biccies and wine. They bought up fresh linen each week and had a truly beautiful and peaceful property to stay on that was still really close to Nowra. I could not recommend them more, thank you so much for having us.
Highly recommend booking in to one of the 3 cottages on this amazing property. We stayed in Herrons Rest cottage which has its own pontoon. Such a peaceful place to spend some quality time away ❤️ Host Carol and Trevor have gone above to make sure you have all the comforts required to make the stay absolutely perfect and the home baked bread was so yum. Amazing hospitality, Amazing view, overall, a very peaceful place. Really enjoyed the beautiful sounds of the insects and animals at night. Overall, definitely a recommendation.
We stayed at Heron’s Rest for 2nights with dear friends we hadn’t seen for 3 years. It is a wonderful spot made more welcoming by beautiful homemade bread and thoughtfully stocked pantry & fridge. Each room had a lovely ensuite and the central living area is easy to use. Comfortable beds, lovely linen and great water pressure. Trev’s “guide “ is hilarious.
