Check-in was great! We did the smores for 20 extra dollars, those were very simple, small bags and a big stick. But when we got to the room, all of a sudden, the temperature stayed above 70 degrees. The room was super hot throughout the night. Then, ants and black beetles were on the restroom floor at 2 am. I'm not sure how often they exterminate. They took care of Texas Task Force 1 while we were there for the Floods
The resort is desperately in need of an infusion of cash to remodel the guest rooms. Food in the main restaurant was mediocre at best, especially at the price point. All in all, it was quite disappointing.
