For the Boston Harbor community project, I appreciated how you kept our internal neighborhood roads open while you worked on all of them. I was driving out almost every day of the peak two weeks. Workers immediately moved and cleared a lane as cars approached. As for the one lane traffic control on the big curve on main road, it was similar to my experience with construction areas by others, such as on Sleater Kinney and along 26th Ave NE in Lacey (for weeks). Thanks.
My husband and I have been actually quite impressed with the crews working out here in the Boston Harbor area. A project of this scale, will have a few hiccups, but I would say overall, the work and Tapani crew have been respectful professional. The county has been great to work with through this project as well. Of course, we will be happy when it is all completed, and we see an end to the traffic issues that come with a project like this. As a Boston Harbor home owner for over thirty years I cannot say enough good things about the professionalism shown by the Tapani Inc. workers. From the personnel on the heavy equipment along the road to those who replaced the two risers on our property. Everyone has been extremely observant and friendly. Their work is first class. First time hearing of this construction company and I hope I never see the name again. Unbelievably rude workers, unusually long wait times (unorganized crews), clearly unsafe situations created all down main Boston harbor road especially at 30mph blind corner, female flaggers scrolling on their cell phones with no awareness of their surroundings, driving company vehicles with cellphone up to ear, an overall entitled group of “tradesmen”.
