We first tried Tao Rice Roll a week ago and have already come back. It’s just that good! The owners are friendly and kind and the food is delicious. The rice is cooked to perfection every time. If you’re not sure what to order, I recommend the beef roll, the pork roll, or the Tao roll. The restaurant is clean and well cared for and it always smells delicious. I highly recommend you give it a try! This is a great local restaurant, especially if you’re looking for a place that gives that “mom and pop shop” vibe.
One and done. It was all meh & greasy. Beef Noodle Soup was greasy with ribs - not the traditional meat used in beef noodle soup. Atmosphere was just dingy. Rice rolls were ok.
We ordered rice rolls to go, and it was a total nightmare. While eating, we found dyed hair mixed right inside the rice. Finding hair in your food is disgusting enough, but because it was embedded in the rice itself, it raises huge red flags about their kitchen hygiene. If they are this careless, there is no way to know if the entire batch of rice served to other customers wasn't contaminated too. The food violation was bad, but the customer service was even worse.
