This is a best place around McKinney, TX where you go to get beyond authentic Taiwanese breakfast. Menu options for breakfast are wider than any other Taiwanese breakfast places. The Youtiao is still crispy on the outside when it is in the salted soymilk, which I really love. I also love the hot dog that was wrapped in scallion pancake. I also love different kinds of fantuan that uses white rice on one side and purple rice on the other. Thank you, Tao Rice Roll.
I had a wonderful experience at Tao Rice Roll! The rice rolls were absolutely delicious, and all of the food was fresh and flavorful. Every dish we tried was well made and satisfying. What made the experience even better was the excellent service. A special thank you to Xiao Zhou, who was incredibly friendly, sweet, and attentive throughout our visit. How ridiculous. Placed a to go over order at 10:50 order was supposed to be ready by 1105. Tried to pick up the food and it wasn’t ready so I went to the car wash and came back. The food was still not ready. It is now 1145 and the food is still not ready. This place takes forever.. you will wait 50 mins for 3 small items $30. Food is not even that good. Also, There is also no where to sit. Rice rolls full of sticky rice with no meat. Tried to give this place a second try and extremely disappointed and frustrating experience
