Great little trail system with a (nearly) heart-attack inducing climb on the black section, fast flowing descent to follow, it was a fun ride. Well-marked once on the trail and is directional by day of the week. Only complaint is that I got a little bloodied by the numerous raspberry plants overgrown on the 9 and 10 sections.

First time riding Tanton, night ride on my single speed....I think I found my Northern Michigan home trail!...very nicely groomed, well taken care of for sure!...again, first ever time on the trail is at night and I had no problem navigating or finding my way around the loop...nice single speed course also, I can see after getting to know the course better it will be a pretty fast track...I'm looking forward to it... everyone involved in maintaining this trail deserves praise...very well done!...

By far my dog and I's favorite hiking spot. It's got a wonderful trail network in some of the most beautiful wood lands northern Michigan has to offer. In the spring morels and leeks can be found abundantly too, it's lovely. I donate money yearly to the LTC almost exclusively for this trail. I cannot recommend enough! Just remember to leash your dogs or have them well trained with recall!
