Last Friday we were on a trip when a light came on the dashboard of our Honda Pilot saying “transmission system problem” - no issue with the car except the light, we pulled off the freeway and took it here cause it was the closest place open on Black Friday, our mistake! We’re a week in, there has been zero communication from them, we keep calling them, still haven’t told us what the problem is or seen a report of their inspection, just tell us they are looking/waiting for parts. 78 days ago, I took my car to Tanner Transmissions in Sandy. The Honda Pilot seemed to be working just fine, but an alert briefly appeared saying “Transmission System Problem”. $650 seemed like a lot of money just to see what was wrong, but I wanted to avoid bigger problems and understand my options, so I reluctantly agreed. It was not volunteered (my bad for not asking) that they could only understand what is wrong by taking apart the transmission and it would be another $1,800 to put the transmission back together without ... read more
Unfinished job, they said the repair is done and we paid for it, but It was not finished right, we took the vehicle back and they said they done with it, so they refuse to fix right. I recommend you to find a place where do they guarantee the repairs.
